Washers
Problem:
A high volume of washers with defects from the stamping process. The washers also had a lot of foreign material introduced from the tumbling, heat treating, or plating process.
Solution:
Create a vision system that would check the ID, OD, and concentricity. The system would reject any bad parts along with the foreign material out of the product stream. The through put would be between 2000 to 10000 parts per minute, depending on the size of the part.
